Dian fell in love with music at an early age. On the weekends, she would wake up to the sounds Classic Soul, Gospel and other genres of music blasting from her dad’s stereo system. At 6, she memorized the lyrics to her favorite Christmas song, the first of many songs she would come to perform at local churches and family functions.

A turning point in the development of her musical identity was being introduced to Jazz/American Standards while studying music at Five Towns College. It, as well as Soul music, became the core of her trademark sound. While in college, Dian performed with a local jazz group as well as with ensembles in showcases at Five Towns College. She was also a featured performer several times in the College’s Great American Songbook series.

Dian continues to perform her original music and favorite songs at showcases and other events.
